Nicholas has been a visual artist since he was a teenager. His paintings have been inspired by the thangka painting tradition of Tibet, medieval icons and altar paintings, 16th century Persian miniatures, 19th and early 20th century illustrators such as Kay Neilson and fantasy artists such as Roger Dean.

He has undergone some training in Tibetan thangka painting and paints these sacred images for people from time to time.

In more recent years he has less time for painting, and a lot of his images have been digital, created for the front covers of Sacred Hoop Magazine. These images are created in photoshop on an Applemac and in effect are photomontage, using photos Nicholas has taken, found photos and directly scanned in objects such as antique silk brocade, small stones, or other items using a flat bed scanner.

All of the digital images and some of the paintings are available as giclée fine art prints. These are very colour accurate high quality prints on archival quality paper.

The paintings are available as one size of print only depending on their original size. The digital images are available in both large and small print sizes.

The two paper sizes are

A4 (210mm x 297mm) £15.00 per print including postage.

A3 (297mm x 420mm) £25.00 per print including postage.
